Regular Season Round 2: Vicenza - Omegna 76-69

There was a minor upset when Omegna was defeated on the road by Vicenza 76-69 on Thursday. Vicenza outrebounded Omegna 38-18 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Spanish forward Federico Ucles (204-1993, agency: Promo Sport ID) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Jacopo Preti (200-1994) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. Center Jacopo Balanzoni (205-1993, agency: SLN) produced 22 points and guard Flavio Gay (185-1998) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Vicenza will meet at home Montecatini in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Omegna will play against San Vendemiano and hope to win that game.
