Regular Season Round 2: Mestre - Roseto 101-91

There was a surprise result whenMestre beat at home Roseto 101-91 on Saturday. American guard KeShawn Curry (195-1998, college: VCU, agency: JCK Sports Group) notched 35 points (!!!) and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Costantino Bechi (182-2002) supported him with 22 points and 4 assists. Curry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 18 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists by American point guard Justin Robinson (170-1995, college: Monmouth) did not help to save the game for Roseto . His fellow American import forward Jalen Cannon (198-1993, college: SFC) added 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the guests. Four Mestre and five Roseto players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
