Regular Season Round 2: Pistoia - Bergamo 93-83
Date: September 28, 2025
There was an upset whenBergamo lost on the road to Pistoia 93-83 on Sunday. Pistoia made 31-of-32 free shots (96.9 percent) during the game, while Bergamo only scored fourteen points from the stripe. The former international point guard Lorenzo Saccaggi (188-1992) notched 27 points to lead the effort and American point guard Jazz Johnson (178-1996, college: Nevada) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by American guard D'Angelo Harrison (193-1993, college: St.John's) did not help to save the game for Bergamo . The former international Mattia Udom (200-1993) added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Five Bergamo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pistoia will meet Torino on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bergamo will play against Roseto and hope to win that game.
