There was a minor upset whenRimini was edged at home by Rieti 77-75 on Sunday. Rieti made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. American guard Darius Perry (188-1999, college: UCF) notched 20 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Tommaso Guariglia (205-1997) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Rieti's coach Franco Ciani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 25 points by the former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-1993, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Rimini . Power forward Alessandro Simioni (204-1998) added 10 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
