Regular Season Round 3: Pesaro Loreto - Luiss Roma 69-79

There was no surprise when Pesaro Loreto (0-3) was defeated at home by Luiss Roma (2-0) 79-69 on Saturday. Luiss Roma made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Riccardo Salvioni (198-2004) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian guard Juan Fernandez (193-1990, college: Temple) helped adding 13 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Elia Sgarzini (184-2004) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Federico Tognacci (197-2000) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Luiss Roma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pesaro Loreto will play against San Severo (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
