Regular Season Round 2: Cremona - Sassari 79-75

Cremona used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Sassari 79-75 on Sunday night. International guard Davide Casarin (197-2003) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Payton Willis (193-1998, college: Minnesota) chipped in 20 points during the contest. American guard Desure Buie (182-1997, college: Hofstra) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and his fellow American import forward Nick McGlynn (206-1996, college: Drake) scored 16 points. Five Cremona and four Sassari players scored in double figures. Cremona will meet Virtus in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sassari will play against Milano and hope to win that game.
