There was an upset when higher rankedVicenza (4-3) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Lumezzane (2-4) 72-58 on Sunday. Lumezzane outrebounded Vicenza 44-28 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Luca Galassi (185-1999) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Giacomo Siberna (192-1996) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Lumezzane players scored in double figures. Lumezzane's coach Marco Ciarpella used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Spanish forward Federico Ucles (204-1993, agency: Promo Sport ID) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Giovanni Gasparin (190-1991, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points respectively for Vicenza in the defeat. Lumezzane moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Ravenna. Vicenza at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
