Round 8 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderLegnano (6-1). They were defeated by third ranked Crema (7-1) 84-71 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Legnano. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Crema dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Legnano 's 20. They outrebounded Legnano 37-26 including a 13-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Tommaso Oxilia (200-1998, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Lucas Chavez (186-1994) who added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Naturalized Serbian power forward Arsenije Stepanovic (206-2000, agency: SLN) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Francesco Oboe (185-2000) scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Crema have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Legnano at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Caserta Pap. and Treviglio. They were replaced at the leadership position by Crema.
