Undefeated leaderSchio delivered the seventh consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Sassari (3-4) 94-51 . Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Sassari 's 30. They outrebounded Sassari 42-22 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Schio looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sassari 's players. It was a great evening for Slovenian-American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). French power forward Marieme Badiane (190-1994) helped adding 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Schio players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nigerian power forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah (188-1997, college: Northwestern) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Debora Carangelo (163-1992) scored 8 points. Sassari's coach Paolo Citrini gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Schio (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. Sassari lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with four games lost.
