There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedAgrigento (3-10) beat at home higher ranked Desio (7-7) 98-83 on Sunday. Agrigento made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Desio turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Alberto Conti (195-1998) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Center Federico Grani (207-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Agrigento players scored in double figures. Gabriele Tarallo (197-2004, agency: SLN) produced 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Gabriele Giarelli (200-1993, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Desio's coach Marco Regazzi rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agrigento moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Piombino. Loser Desio dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Jesi.
