Regular Season Round 16: Torino - Rieti 82-72
Date: December 7, 2025
There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedTorino (8-8) defeated at home higher ranked Rieti (9-6) 82-72 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American Macio Teague (193-1997, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 assists and the other American import forward Robert Allen (206-2000, college: N.Texas, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who added 20 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Alessandro Panni (185-1991) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Giorgio Piunti (205-1990) scored 13 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Rieti players scored in double figures. Rieti's coach Franco Ciani tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Torino have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Scafati and Cento. Loser Rieti dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Rimini. Torino will meet Juvi Cremona (#15) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Rieti will play against Livorno Libertas (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
