There was no surprise when 11th rankedDesio (9-8) was defeated at home by second ranked Crema (13-4) 109-98 on Sunday. Crema shot 63.6 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists. Argentinian point guard Lucas Chavez (186-1994) scored 28 points and 8 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Tommaso Oxilia (200-1998, agency: Players Group) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Crema players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Michele Munari (190-2004, agency: SLN) with 21 points and 7 assists and Gabriele Tarallo (197-2004, agency: SLN) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Crema have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Vigevano and Latina. Loser Desio dropped to the eighth place with eight games lost. They share the position with San Severo and Fabo Herons.
