There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedRieti (11-8) won against at home higher ranked Fortitudo (11-8) 68-62 on Sunday. Rieti made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for forward Liam Udom (199-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. American guard Darius Perry (188-1999, college: UCF) helped adding 13 points. At the losing side Lithuanian forward Paulius Sorokas (203-1992, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Matteo Fantinelli (195-1993) scored 4 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. Fortitudo BO's coach Attilio Caja tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rieti moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Fortitudo .
