Everything went according to plan when seventh rankedTreviglio (13-6) defeated at home 17th ranked Monferrato (3-16) 79-65 on Sunday. The winners were led by Ygor Morina who scored that evening 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Marco Restelli (190-2004) supported him with 18 points. Even 17 points by the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-1989) did not help to save the game for Monferrato . Argentinian Tomas Zanzottera (190-1993) added 12 points for the guests. Four Monferrato players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Treviglio have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Legnano and San Vendemiano. Loser Monferrato keeps the seventeenth position with 16 games lost.
