Regular Season Round 20: Fortitudo BO - Roseto 89-85

There was no surprise when 20th rankedRoseto (4-16) lost to eighth ranked Fortitudo (12-8) in Bologna 85-89 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Fortitudo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Matteo Fantinelli (195-1993) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and guard Gianluca Della Rosa (180-1996) supported him with 25 points and 9 assists. Even 22 points and 8 assists by American point guard Justin Robinson (170-1995, college: Monmouth) did not help to save the game for Roseto . His fellow American import forward Jalen Cannon (198-1993, college: SFC) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the guests. Five Fortitudo and four Roseto players scored in double figures. Roseto's coach Alessandro Finelli let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fortitudo moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Scafati and Livorno Libertas. Loser Roseto stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
