Very important is a road loss of second rankedCrema (14-7) against sixteenth ranked Fiorenzuola (7-14) on Sunday night. Visiting Crema was defeated by Fiorenzuola in a tough game in Fiorenzuola 63-71 . Fiorenzuola outrebounded Crema 38-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Crema was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Riccardo Bottioni (192-1993) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 assists. Argentinian point guard Lucas Chavez (186-1994) replied with 12 points and 7 assists and guard Niccolo Venturoli (196-2000, agency: SLN) added 12 points in the effort for Crema. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fiorenzuola moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ferrara and Quarrata. Crema lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
