There was a small surprise when fifteenth rankedCantu (4-13) edged on the road 13th ranked Reggio Emilia (5-12) 79-78 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Mali center Oumar Ballo (213-2002, college: Indiana) who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Xavier Sneed (196-1997, college: Kansas St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 15 points. Four Cantu players scored in double figures. American point guard Stephen Brown Jr. (180-1996, college: Bucknell) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import Jaylen Barford (191-1996, college: Arkansas) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cantu moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Reggio Emilia keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost.
