There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedAgrigento (8-14) smashed at home higher ranked Piacenza UCC (13-9) 91-71 on Sunday. Agrigento made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Alfonso Zampogna (185-2000, agency: SLN) who scored 31 points and 5 rebounds. Austrian-American forward Bryce Douvier (201-1991, college: TAMUCC) chipped in 26 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Giovanni Poggi (201-1997) who recorded 11 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Andrea Mazzucchelli (187-1994) added 15 points respectively.
