We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eighteenth rankedFidenza (4-19) smashed at home 17th ranked Monferrato (4-20) 111-78 on Sunday. Fidenza outrebounded Monferrato 45-29 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fidenza shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Finnish forward Joel Mantynen (199-2002, agency: Blacktop Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners and forward Dario Zucca (203-1996) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Fidenza players scored in double figures. At the losing side Argentinian Tomas Zanzottera (190-1993) responded with 25 points and forward Francesco Marcucci (202-2005, agency: Players Group) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fidenza moved-up to seventeenth place. Monferrato lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighteenth position with 20 games lost.
