There was a surprise result when twelfth rankedFabo Herons (13-12) rolled over higher ranked Orlandina (15-10) in Capo d'Orlando 93-69 on Sunday. Fabo Herons shot 60.8 percent from the field and made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. Fabo Herons had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized Belarusian Kiryl Tsetserukou (201-2001) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and swingman Riccardo Chinellato (198-2000, agency: SLN) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fabo Herons players scored in double figures. Fabo Herons' coach Federico Barsotti felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 7 assists by point guard Gianmarco Bertetti (179-2001) did not help to save the game for Orlandina . Guard Matteo Palermo (190-1991) added 9 points for the hosts. Fabo Herons moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Vicenza. Loser Orlandina dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Treviglio and San Severo.
