The game in Roseto was also quite interesting. Fifth rankedScrivia (10-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Roseto (6-11). Scrivia defeated Roseto 85-73 on Sunday. Scrivia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Cornelia Fondren (173-1993, college: Syracuse) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. point guard Anastasia Conte (174-2000) helped adding 22 points. Fondren is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American swingman Alyssa Ustby (185-2002, college: UNC) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (193-1999) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Scrivia and four Roseto players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Scrivia . They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with San Giovanni. Newly promoted Roseto keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost.
