No shocking result in a game when third rankedCrema (20-7) smashed at home 18th ranked Monferrato (4-23) 87-64 on Sunday. Crema outrebounded Monferrato 45-28 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Crema looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Monferrato 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Edoardo Caversazio (200-1996) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Argentinian point guard Lucas Chavez (186-1994) who added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Francesco Guerra (185-2000) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Kesmor Osatwna (202-2004, agency: Players Group) scored 17 points. Four Monferrato players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Crema have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-7 record behind leader RO Virtus 1960. Monferrato lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth place with 23 games lost.
