There was a minor upset when 8th rankedDesio (15-13) was outplayed at home by tenth ranked Fabo Herons (16-13) 94-74 on Wednesday. Fabo Herons outrebounded Desio 43-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. Fabo Herons looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Desio 's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Filippo Rossi (193-1997) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Swingman Riccardo Chinellato (198-2000, agency: SLN) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Francesco Spinelli (195-2005) who recorded 19 points and Lithuanian forward Emilis Bartninkas (202-2004, agency: Players Group) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
