There was a small surprise when sixteenth rankedNocera (9-20) defeated on the road 14th ranked Quarrata (9-20) 92-84 on Saturday. Nocera made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Manuel Saladini (182-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 assists. Guard Lorenzo Donadio (193-2001, college: American) helped adding 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Amedeo Tiberti (196-2000) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Antonio Novori (196-2007) scored 18 points. Four Quarrata players scored in double figures. Quarrata's coach Alberto Tonfoni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Nocera moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ferrara and Quarrata.
