Not a big story in a game when 19th rankedRoseto (5-25) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Rieti (18-11) 89-84 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Rieti looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Matteo Bogliardi (189-2002) who scored 20 points and 4 assists. American guard Darius Perry (188-1999, college: UCF) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Rieti's coach Franco Ciani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard DAngelo Harrison (193-1993, college: St.John's) who recorded 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Jalen Cannon (198-1993, college: SFC) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rieti moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rimini and Fortitudo. Loser Roseto keeps the nineteenth position with 25 games lost.
