No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedTortona (14-7) defeated at home 10th ranked Cremona (8-13) 85-78 on Sunday. American forward Justin Gorham (201-1998, college: Houston) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and American-Armenian guard Christian Vital (188-1997, college: UConn) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Tortona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international guard Davide Casarin (197-2003) with 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international Giovanni Veronesi (198-1998) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Cremona's coach Pierluigi Brotto rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tortona have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 14-7 record. Cremona at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Sassari and Udine.
