There was a small surprise when tenth rankedJesi (15-15) defeated on the road 7th ranked Imola ACosta (17-14) 75-64 on Saturday. The winners were led by Icelandic swingman Kristinn Palsson (198-1997, college: Marist, agency: SLN) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Lucas Maglietti (181-2003) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Five Jesi players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by Lithuanian guard Tautvydas Kupstas (193-2000, college: UWF) did not help to save the game for Imola ACosta . point guard Giacomo Sanguinetti (181-1990) added 14 points for the hosts. Imola ACosta's coach Luca Dalmonte tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Jesi have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Faenza. Loser Imola ACosta keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Fabo Herons.
