Everything went according to plan in Trento where second rankedBrescia (17-5) beat 9th ranked Dolomiti Trentino (9-13) 85-77 on Sunday. Brescia made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game, while Trento only scored nine points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Jason Burnell (201-1997, college: Jax State) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Brescia players scored in double figures. American point guard DJ Steward (185-2001, college: Duke) produced 17 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and Lithuanian Matas Jogela (201-1998) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brescia maintains second place with 17-5 record having just 39 point less than leader Virtus BO. Trento lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost.
