No shocking result in a game when first rankedVigevano (25-6) outleveled at home 8th ranked Desio (17-14) 99-71 on Sunday. Vigevano made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian forward Modestas Kancleris (206-2001, college: UIC) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Swingman Mauro Zacchigna (202-2004) chipped in 24 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Four Vigevano players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Gabriele Tarallo (197-2004, agency: SLN) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Michele Munari (190-2004, agency: SLN) added 10 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Vigevano . They maintain first place with 25-6 record, which they share with RO Virtus 1960. Loser Desio dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Orlandina.
