There was a small surprise when sixteenth rankedFiorenzuola (13-21) won against on the road 13th ranked Agrigento (15-18) 85-81 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Fiorenzuola especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian guard Guido Mariani (194-1994, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Lorenzo De Zardo (199-1999, agency: Players Group) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Fiorenzuola's coach Marco Del Re used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Alberto Conti (195-1998) came up with 21 points and 5 assists and guard Alfonso Zampogna (185-2000, agency: SLN) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for Agrigento in the defeat. Four Agrigento players scored in double figures. Fiorenzuola maintains sixteenth place with 13-21 record. Loser Agrigento dropped to the eleventh position with 18 games lost.
