Everything went according to plan when third rankedLatina (28-8) defeated at home 8th ranked Faenza (18-18) 70-62 on Sunday. Latina dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Faenza 's 28. Bosnian-Croatian power forward Marko Bakovic (205-1993) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Raphael Chiti (195-1999) supported him with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Even 11 points and 5 rebounds by center Marco Di Pizzo (205-1998, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Faenza .
