Round 28 most important game was a victory ofMilano over one of their biggest challengers Venezia 90-85 on Sunday night. Armani Milano outrebounded Umana Venezia 38-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian swingman Leandro Bolmaro (198-2000) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. International Giampaolo Ricci (202-1991) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard RJ Cole (182-1999, college: UConn) replied with 29 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Jordan Parks (201-1994, college: NCCU, agency: Inception Sports) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Umana Venezia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Milano have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 19-8 record having just 46 point less than leader Virtus BO. Venezia at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Milano are looking forward to face Trieste (#7) at home in the next round. Venezia will play against Cremona and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
