The game in Kedainiai was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Vytautas (9-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Nevezis (6-12). Vytautas did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 78-61 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Vytautas. Nevezis managed to win third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vytautas forced 19 Nevezis turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Vytautas Sulskis (200-88, college: Youngstown St., agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Vilmantas Dilys (207-87) who added 22 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Ernestas Ezerskis (192-87) responded with 9 points and forward Vaidotas Volkus (203-85, college: Redlands CC) scored 12 points. Nevezis' coach Ramunas Cvirka rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Vytautas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Juventus. Loser Nevezis keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Vytautas will meet at home league's leader Zalgiris in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Nevezis will play against P.Zvaigzdes (#9) in Pasvalys and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
