No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Jonava (4-3) defeated at home 10th ranked Delikatesas (2-5) 84-79 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Jonava made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Jonava outrebounded Delikatesas 40-27 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nigerian-American guard Ebuka Anyaorah (193-90, college: N.C.Central) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Lukas Grabauskas (192-95) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Anyaorah is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Jonava's coach Nerijus Zabarauskas let to play all 12 players in such tough game. Forward Rytis Biliartas (202-91) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Jonava and five Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Jonava have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 4-3 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Delikatesas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Jonava will face Perlas (#13) in Vilnius in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Delikatesas will play at home against KTU and hope to win that game.
