Regular Season Round 29: Telsiai - Ereliai Mazeikiai 80-78

Eleventh-ranked Ereliai Mazeikiai (11-18) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked Telsiai (15-14) in Telsiu. Telsiai managed to secure only two-point victory 80-78. However their fans expected much easier game. Guard Laurynas Kaveckis (190-90) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Haroldas Saprykinas (185-95, college: Cal-Irvine) responded with 26 points and forward Aurimas Urbonas (190-93) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Telsiai moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Jonava and Ezerunas. Ereliai Mazeikiai at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Telsiai will play against Perlas (#10) in Vilnius in the next round. Ereliai Mazeikiai will play at home against Zalgiris II and hopes to get back on the winning track.
