Lietuvos Rytas fired past Neptunas in the decider and joined Zalgiris in LKL Finals. Neptunas was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 28-21 charge of Lietuvos rytas, which allowed them to win the game. They made 36-of-44 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. 37 personal fouls committed by Neptunas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International guard Mindaugas Girdziunas (188-89) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 assists for the winners and international Rokas Giedraitis (200-92) chipped in 18 points. Five Lietuvos rytas players scored in double figures. American guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) responded with 21 points and 8 assists and the former international Renaldas Seibutis (196-85) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Neptunas' coach Kazys Maksvytis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
