There was a minor upset when 9th rankedDelikatesas (18-18) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Kretinga (14-22) 89-88 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kretinga made 26 blocks. The best player for the winners was Mantas Ruikis (197-1985) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Point guard Edgaras Danys (186-2000) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Devin Hutchinson (196-1996, college: Radford) who recorded 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-1992) added 18 points and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Delikatesas' coach Zilvinas Petraitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kretinga moved-up to tenth place. Loser Delikatesas keeps the ninth position with 18 games lost.
