There was no surprise in Kaunas where 12th rankedP.Olimpas (3-8) was defeated by ninth ranked Omega-Tauras (5-3) 80-72 on Thursday. Omega-Tauras looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Robert Subotkevic (203-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Center Robertas Keliacius (210-1997) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side American swingman Jared Small (201-1997, college: CMU) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Tadas Kararinas (208-1998, college: Drexel) scored 14 points. Four Omega-Tauras and five P.Olimpas players scored in double figures. Omega-Tauras moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. P.Olimpas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost.
