Neptunas-Akv. outrebounded Telsiai 41-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Klaidas Metrikis (204-2000) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Simas Sarakauskas (185-2007) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 19 points by Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-1991) did not help to save the game for Telsiai . American swingman Jared Small (201-1997, college: CMU) added 8 points for the guests.
