The game was mostly controlled by VKM-2. Saule managed to win second period 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bernardas Novoselskij had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ignas Silanskas chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four VKM-2 players scored in double figures. Magnas Butkus (-2008) responded with 6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Dagnius Varikas (-2008) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Saule's coach Dainius Bertulis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
