The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-78.Saule dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to VKM-2 's 30. They outrebounded VKM-2 50-28 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Saule looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Rinaldas Kairys (-2008) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Gabrielius Krivas (199-2008) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Saule players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Matas Mikenas with 19 points and 6 assists and Tomas Vaskevicius scored 21 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
