Semi-Finals Game 1: Saule - KKM I 95-79

The game was mostly controlled by Saule. KKM I was better in third quarter24-23 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saule shot 27 for 45 from the free-throw line, while KKM I only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded KKM I 61-23 including a 25-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Saule players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. KKM I was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Rinaldas Kairys (-2008) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Magnas Butkus (-2008) accounted for 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Dominykas Agajev (188-2008) came up with 23 points and Latvian Mantas Zelvys (-2009) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for KKM I in the defeat. Five Saule and four KKM I players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
