Bottom-rankedValletta T. is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 13th consecutive match to third ranked Luxol (8-3) 120-66 on Thursday evening. Luxol dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Valletta T. 's 44. They outrebounded Valletta T. 51-34 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Luxol looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Valletta T. 's players. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by guard Darron Howard (188-1999, college: King) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Caleb Jones-McCrary (203-2000, college: MNU) supported him with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Four Luxol players scored in double figures. Luxol's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds by guard Kendall Jordan (185, college: Carlow) did not help to save the game for Valletta T. . Forward Albert Varcallo added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Luxol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Valletta T. still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
