The game in Valletta supposed to be also quite interesting. Second rankedHibernians (6-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Valletta (1-6). Hibernians smashed Valletta 150-42 on Sunday. Hibernians held Valletta to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 62.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Hibernians forced 24 Valletta turnovers and outrebounded them 63-18 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hibernians looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Valletta 's players. It was a great evening for American point guard Deonte Jackson (175-2001, college: LeTourneau) who led his team to a victory scoring 40 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Ayomide Ajiboye (196-2000, college: Roosevelt, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 29 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Hibernians players scored in double figures. Hibernians' coach Christian Narciso felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American Myles Roper (-2000) responded with 13 points and the former international forward Kieron Caruana (184-1997) scored 10 points. Hibernians maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader Starlites. Loser Valletta stay at the bottom position with six games lost.
