Regular Season Round 11: Soroca - Comrat H. 82-83

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Superleague took place in Soroca. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Soroca (7-4) to seventh ranked Comrat H. (6-5) 83-82 on Saturday evening. Dmitri Chiurcciu saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds. Ivan Duloglu contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Artiom Griccenco answered with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Alexei Svetenco (-2008) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Soroca. Five Comrat H. and four Soroca players scored in double figures. Comrat H. maintains seventh place with 6-5 record. Soroca lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Gloria and UTM. Comrat H. are looking forward to face Titan (#9) in the next round. Soroca will play against Gloria (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
