The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth rankedSoroca 's (3-11) home victory over bottom-ranked Straseni (1-13) 72-69 on Saturday. Soroca forced 20 Straseni turnovers. Strangely Straseni outrebounded Soroca 47-24 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Soroca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The winners were led by point guard Artiom Griscenko (185-1998) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 assists and Vitalii Golodnii supported him with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Soroca players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by Ion Boxanean (-2003) did not help to save the game for Straseni . Pasa Laurentiu (-2006) added 10 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. Soroca moved-up to seventh place, which they share with CBA Baschet. Straseni lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.
