Very expected game when 8th rankedNidaros Jets (8-12) were smashed by second ranked Centrum (15-6) in Oslo 101-81 on Saturday. Centrum outrebounded Nidaros Jets 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Centrum looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Johan Flaa (185-1999, college: Santa Rosa JC) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Sivert Nordheim (196-2006) accounted for 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Centrum's coach Inge-Aleksander Kristiansen used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Josef Fahrenholtz (203, college: UW-Superior) came up with 29 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian-Swiss swingman Vid Milenkovic (194-1995, college: UW-Superior) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Nidaros Jets in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Centrum . They maintain second place with 15-6 record behind leader Fyllingen. Loser Nidaros Jets keep the eighth position with 12 games lost.
