Regular Season Round 10: Nidaros Jets - TNT Towers 77-103

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tromdheim where 7th rankedNidaros Jets (3-11) were rolled over by eighth ranked TNT Towers (2-10) 103-77 on Saturday. TNT Towers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Nidaros Jets ' 30 and made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Nidaros Jets 45-31 including a 39-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Valen Tejada fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Babatunde Ajike chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Spanish guard Pau Tendero (194-2002) produced a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals and Latvian Ojars Berzins (191-2001) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four TNT Towers and five Nidaros Jets players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory TNT Towers went down to ninth position due to points difference. Loser Nidaros Jets keep the seventh place with 11 games lost.
