Regular Season Round 11: Asker Aliens - Gimle 52-77

Leader Gimle delivered the eleventh win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Asker Aliens (2-9) 77-52. The best player for the winners was American guard Javonte Johnson (198, college: CBU, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Elias Demoniere chipped in 15 points. Mali-French Tim Troussel (203-1995, college: Newman) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and Oliver Bergstad added 7 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Gimle (11-2) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. Asker Aliens at the other side keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Gimle are looking forward to face Froya (#3) in Laksevag in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Asker Aliens will play at home against the league's second-placed Kongsberg (#2) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
