There was a surprise result when twelfth rankedJelenia Gora (5-11) edged higher ranked Pyra (11-5) in Poznan 79-77 on Saturday. Jelenia Gora made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Pyra only scored five points from the stripe. Jelenia Gora forced 25 Pyra turnovers. The winners were led by power forward Jakub Cieminski (200-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds and guard Nicolas Wrona (183-2003) supported him with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 27 points and 7 rebounds by Pawel Wisniewski (195-2005) did not help to save the game for Pyra . Forward Adam Stefanowicz (190-1990) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Pyra's coach Tomasz Semmler let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Jelenia Gora maintains twelfth position with 5-11 record. Loser Pyra dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with UMK Torun and Zyrardow.
